Hummus
A great snack. Will last in refrigerator for three days.
- 1 can garbanzo beans (chickpeas) drained and rinsed
- 2 tablespoons tahini (sesame paste)
- 1 large clove garlic
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 5 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- Salt to taste
Place all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. Serve with fresh whole wheat pita bread.
